You can safely pull the bottom weatherstrip and clear the track yourself with a vacuum and a stiff brush. That’s maintenance, and we encourage it. What we don’t recommend is pulling a CGI panel out of the frame yourself. These panels are heavy, anywhere from 120 to 220 pounds depending on glass package, and a sliding door panel that tips forward will drop hard and shatter or take a finger with it.
